The Order of the Eastern Star is an appendage of the Masonic Fraternity (Free Masons), which is open to both men and women. This remarkable blanket features vertical stripes, interwoven with crystal patterns. In the center, the medallion of the Order of the Eastern Star is woven in brown tones. A handful of Mills made Masonic blankets, including Pendleton. This blanket is likely a Pendleton, but the label is absent. Note that one side is striped, while the other side is solid brown. As a unique piece of history, this blanket is a rare find – perfect as a warm throw or wall hanging.
