Beautifully woven in tones of red, white, brown and gray, this Navajo rug depicts an "eye dazzler" diamond pattern, made with variegated aniline dyes. Featuring stacked geometric forms, overlapping with jagged lines, this well-proportioned piece could be wall hanging, or an area rug. Wool warp and weft. The handspun character of the yarns is especially evident in the lovely variegation of the naturally dyed gray and brown.
