Framed Small Navajo Weaving w/ Sawtooth Motif Item # F9058

Circa 1920s

Beautifully woven in naturally dyed tones of black, white, gray, and yellow - and one central red diamond, this early-century Navajo weaving features the tiered sawtooth pattern. The handspun character of the yarns is especially evident in the lovely variegation of the naturally dyed grays and yellows.

Tightly woven with original dyes still intact, we mounted this petite weaving in a solid wood moulding on an acid-free archival mat.

  • Historical Style: Traditional
  • Condition Notes: Wonderful original condition with minimal pulls and staining. See all photos for details.
