W.B. Brown Oak Mission Dome Light w/Art Glass & Fringe Item # R1913

Circa 1912

$1,450.00 $862.50

W.B. Brown of Bluffton, Indiana was a famous and prolific manufacturer of solid wood light fixtures in the Arts & Crafts style during the first couple of decades of the 20th century, with designs that often featured Brown’s unique patented wooden chain. This unmarked example sports two colors of original art glass panels with a glare-reducing fringe surround and a lighter stained oak than is commonly seen on Brown fixtures.

Note: This fixture is missing a piece where the dome meets the chain, which at some point split. We have reinforced and stabilized the top piece now.

  • Historical Style: Arts & Crafts
  • Notes: The socket cluster is a replacement.
  • This fixture is missing a piece where the fixture meets the chain and at some point split. We have reinforced the top piece and is now stable.
  • Bulbs not included.
