Wrought Iron Entry Lantern w/ Integral Knocker Item # R4206

Circa 1880s

Imagine approaching an old Victorian manor, with ivy overgrowing the entrance. Beside the door, there's a flickering candle illuminating the lantern, which features three panes of textured purple glass. After hesitating, you reach for the lantern's integral knocker and you rap twice.

This is that entry lantern, complete with wrought iron integral knocker. Typically, we would electrify a fixture like this, but we are presenting it to you here in its completely original state. The small iron door swings open to reveal a candle receptacle, which is then locked with the included, original key.

  • Historical Style: Victorian
  • Condition Notes: Plenty of wear in the original black lacquered finish. See photos for complete details, including signs of age in the interior of the lantern. There is minimal rust and pitting.
