Arts & Crafts Hammered Copper Chandelier w/ Mica Inserts Item # R7325
A wonderful dome chandelier with a variety of distinctive period treatments. Note the hand-hammered copper, a favorite material and technique of the Arts & Crafts movement, beloved by the Roycrofters and others. The fixture also features hand-riveted construction, bent-wire grilles, and traditional (new, but period-appropriate) mica panels to create a cosy glow. A pull-chain activates the bulb within the lantern. Attribution isn't certain, but it is similar in many details to the design of a wonderful fixture in our archive, made by the Albert Sechrist Mfg Co. of Denver, Colorado, that we reproduced for a while, years ago.
- Historical Style: Arts & Crafts
- Condition Notes: Wonderfully intact original copper finish. Canopy is a brass replacement, but it is an antique part hammered and finished to match.
- Bulbs not included.
