Colonial Revival Bowl Chandelier w/ Satin Opal Shades Item # R9931

Circa 1925

Combining the two hottest lighting trends of its time - bowl shades and shower fixtures with multiple drops - this beautiful chandelier would have been a classic choice for bungalow, foursquare, or Classical Revival dining rooms between 1910 and 1920. The fixture itself boasts elegant stamped details in a lovely Revival-style motifs shown with a matching set of opal shades. These fixtures were rarely done better or more substantially than when the shade was made of heavy, semi-opaque cast glass like this example. Cast in highly detailed molds, this glass had the same permanence and substance that the Classical and Colonial Revivals sought to embody in all of its aspects.

  • Historical Style: Colonial Revival
  • Bulbs not included.
