Referencing American history and neoclassical styles, Colonial Revival lighting features traditional, symmetrical forms, graceful curves, and turned elements without overt ornamentation. Shining brass and polychrome surfaces were the most popular in this period, with silver-plated finishes adorning more elegant fixtures.
