Kelly Green Lunch Box w/ Thermos c1922 Item # F9032
Patented in 1922 by EH Williamson, this adorable little "Lunch Kit" features a clever design. When closed, the thermos is held firmly within the lid by a spring-loaded bar. But then the box is opened, the bar can be released, allowing the thermos to be removed with ease. We love the sophisticated function of this smart little box, but we equally taken by the satin kelly green finish and the polished aluminum thermos. The tiny name card holder is a captivating detail as well. A wonderful, early-century relic, ideal for display.
- Historical Style: Industrial
- Condition notes: The opening and closing mechanisms work perfectly on the lunch box, but the seal is not tight on the thermos, so it is no longer ideal for holding liquids.
