Adjustable Modern Chrome Plated "Eye Ball" Lamp Item # R3878

Circa 1965

The "eye ball" lamp became a popular design for many American and Scandinavian light makers in the 1960's and this little desk-top fixture makes the cut. The spherical shade can be pointed to focus in any direction while the tightening bolt and shaft allows for the "eye" to to raise and lower with ease. This sweet and useful little light also features one of our favorite mid-century finished combinations: polished chrome and honey-colored baked-on enamel. As was frequently the fate of "eye ball" lamps, the round shade has a small dent near the top – see all photos for details.

  • Historical Style: Mod
  • Notes: requires a candelabra based bulb
  • Note dent in the top shown in the second image
